Merry Christmas!

Christmas holidays have arrived. People in their houses usually give the presents on 25th morning or on 24th evening with the “tió”, but in my house is different.

As we buy the presents for the rest of the family, we are putting under the tree and we open them on 24th evening. I find it fantastic, provided that there aren’t any children in the family, because every day you go next to the tree and you discover another present for you. Also, you can try to guess what it is.

I write about this, because I love this evening. We are only my family, so my parents and my sisters, and after we have opened all the presents, we have a lovely dinner together. I am very nervous for this evening.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR ALL YOU!

PD: My intention was to take a photo of my tree with all the presents under, but still missing some. Hopefully one of these is for me!

An unforgettable experience

Today I would like to explain you one of my most interesting experiences.

Everything started when my two sisters went two consecutive summers in England. When it happened, I was only eight but I was completely sure that I would never do it. I had several arguments with my parents in consequents.

But the day seemed to be the worst day of all my life finally came. I was eleven and I was with my parents, my English teacher and some others young children like me, in the airport with my entire luggage. While the plane was taking off, I could only think in all the things that I would miss in these three weeks. Now, I have to admit that it was difficult at first, but when three days had passed, I only wished that the three weeks never ended.

I stayed at a hall of residence in Salisbury. I had so well, that following summer I repeated the experience in the same town but at a family home, with two more friends. Two summers later, I went to Weymouth (between all the other teenagers, this time I went with Laura and Magalí), again at a family home but this time alone. Undoubtedly, this time was the best because I was older and my English family was more that great. They made me feel like at home and also, one day my “mother” gave me permission to don’t go to school and went to spend the day shopping together. It was three years ago, and we still talk occasionally.(The attached photo is Peacock's family from Weymouth).

Certainly were three unforgettable experiences for me. Now I thank my parents for having made me go. Imagine if I liked, that I am considering going there next year for a while and start the degree later (but it is only an option).

So what I can only say to you is that if you never have do it, don’t wait more and try. I assure you it will be an unforgettable experience.

Discribing myself

Hello everybody!

Is the first time I write this blog, certainly I write a blog, so I don’t know what do people usually explain in it. For this reason I’ve found appropriate to start describing myself a bit, because that way people will know how I am.

I am 17 years old and I am a tallish and slim girl. I have clear-skinned and curly, fair hair. Psychologically I regard me friendly, responsible and outgoing, but unluckily I am not a perfect person. I can usually be a little bit moody, depending on way that I get up, shy, when I have to meet someone for the first time and also sometimes absent-minded, when I am lazy or tired.
I can’t forget that I’m a talkative person because when I have to explain something to  my friends that for me is important or interesting I can’t wait and I have to tell them at the moment. I am quite a lot proud with what I think, even though I am not always right.

Is not difficult to guess one of my hobbies if you look the blog’s photo. Have you seen it? Yes, it’s basketball. I play it since I was 7 and honestly I don’t know what I would do without. The hobbies about my personal life are, like any other teenager, go out with my friends and stay in my village, Viladrau. For me is the best place where anyone can live because I have the most part of my friends and family and in addition it is small, cozy, quiet, beautiful...Do you want to come? I wouldn’t think twice.

So this is a little bit of my life. I hope you have not boring and that it has helped you to know me a little more. I wish you enjoy the weekend, I will do it.
