Today I would like to explain you one of my most interesting experiences.
Everything started when my two sisters went two consecutive summers in England. When it happened, I was only eight but I was completely sure that I would never do it. I had several arguments with my parents in consequents.
But the day seemed to be the worst day of all my life finally came. I was eleven and I was with my parents, my English teacher and some others young children like me, in the airport with my entire luggage. While the plane was taking off, I could only think in all the things that I would miss in these three weeks. Now, I have to admit that it was difficult at first, but when three days had passed, I only wished that the three weeks never ended.
I stayed at a hall of residence in Salisbury. I had so well, that following summer I repeated the experience in the same town but at a family home, with two more friends. Two summers later, I went to Weymouth (between all the other teenagers, this time I went with Laura and Magalí), again at a family home but this time alone. Undoubtedly, this time was the best because I was older and my English family was more that great. They made me feel like at home and also, one day my “mother” gave me permission to don’t go to school and went to spend the day shopping together. It was three years ago, and we still talk occasionally.(The attached photo is Peacock's family from Weymouth).
Certainly were three unforgettable experiences for me. Now I thank my parents for having made me go. Imagine if I liked, that I am considering going there next year for a while and start the degree later (but it is only an option).
So what I can only say to you is that if you never have do it, don’t wait more and try. I assure you it will be an unforgettable experience.
