My 18 years

As I told you in other writing, in 11th of January I turned 18. Today I am going to explain my celebration which was more than fantastic.

After leaving school I went to Viladrau where father’s gift was waiting me. When I opened it I could not believe what I was seeing, it was a Canon Eos! I had always dreamt to have one of these cameras and now, my wish has been complied. Then some of my town’s friends came home to congratulate me. Everything was perfect, except one thing and the most important for me… Jordi just phoned telling me that he could not come to see me because he had been working late. I could not avoid it but this new made me feel sad.

I went to the kitchen to see if there was at least a cake, there was not. Above, my mother was cooking vegetables and she knows that I hate it… This made me fell sadder, because it meant that not even celebrate my birthday with my family. So I decided to go to have a shower and put on the pyjamas. Then, while I was watching TV, the doorbell of house rang. I went to open the door and I could not believe what my eyes were seeing, Jordi had come! I must admit that I was in shock for a while but then he gave me a letter. When I finished reading it he told me that I had to get changed because I would go to have dinner at Vic. I was much moved but I did what he said and undoubtedly was the best birthday I have lived.

If that were not enough, Jordi, my family and my friends make me a surprise party a few days later, which was more than great! Again I could not believe that that was my party and that all those people were there for me.

Now I understand why people say that 18 are the bests!!

Why is everything so complicated?

Why when you have found what you had been looking so long, became all complicated? Why when you have got the strongest friendship you ever had got, you have to break it for the sake of both? Why when you have found the person who really love, appear another one? Ultimately, why is everything so complicated?

It is difficult to get right in the way you act in front of your problems, and it become more difficult if you are not agree with the decision you have to choose. But unfortunately, there is not always more than one option to choose. In most cases, there is only one choice and even knowing that this is the best, usually finish with suffering. I am going to tell you a real case that happened very close to me.

There was a girl who had found her great love, a sensitive and affectionate boy who loved her a lot. Their relationship was perfect, like a fantasy. But one day, one of her best friends, admitted that he was in love with her. She reflected about what her friend said before, she loved her boyfriend but she could not forget her friend’s words, probably because she had loved him time ago. So those words made her relive that feeling.

She was completely safe of her feelings towards her boyfriend and she did not see her life without him, but there was something that tilted her to the other side, I mean to talk, to laugh, to flirt...with her friend. This was like a game, which lasted a long time. A season their relationship as friends was colder, and in others the opposite, they did not separated. But one day the two friends realized that they had been accustomed to talk to each other every day, and this was not good. So they met one day in the afternoon to talk and to put things in place. It was like a farewell, as if they had not seen anymore... The two agreed to split up a while without talking, so that they could forget all the feelings that had grown up.

I do not know how this story will end, but what I really know is that their last decision was the best that they could ever choose and that they are very brave to choose it.

Happy New Year!

Christmas has finished and New Year’s eve also. So, what we have left of all these holidays? Only the three kings. But as with my family we do nothing this day of celebration, I find that is important to note that we have entered a new year

2011 is the entrance in a new decade and the year that I was a lot of time waiting because that is when I become of age. This fact means several things like that I will became 18 years old, that I will be able to get the driving license, that in the next September, if everything is all right, I will start in the university, and a lot of more things that I forget.

I’m looking forward to January 11 because it is my birthday and I will be 18 years old. Although we have exam of history.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR ALL YOU!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas holidays have arrived. People in their houses usually give the presents on 25th morning or on 24th evening with the “tió”, but in my house is different.

As we buy the presents for the rest of the family, we are putting under the tree and we open them on 24th evening. I find it fantastic, provided that there aren’t any children in the family, because every day you go next to the tree and you discover another present for you. Also, you can try to guess what it is.

I write about this, because I love this evening. We are only my family, so my parents and my sisters, and after we have opened all the presents, we have a lovely dinner together. I am very nervous for this evening.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR ALL YOU!

PD: My intention was to take a photo of my tree with all the presents under, but still missing some. Hopefully one of these is for me!

An unforgettable experience

Today I would like to explain you one of my most interesting experiences.

Everything started when my two sisters went two consecutive summers in England. When it happened, I was only eight but I was completely sure that I would never do it. I had several arguments with my parents in consequents.

But the day seemed to be the worst day of all my life finally came. I was eleven and I was with my parents, my English teacher and some others young children like me, in the airport with my entire luggage. While the plane was taking off, I could only think in all the things that I would miss in these three weeks. Now, I have to admit that it was difficult at first, but when three days had passed, I only wished that the three weeks never ended.

I stayed at a hall of residence in Salisbury. I had so well, that following summer I repeated the experience in the same town but at a family home, with two more friends. Two summers later, I went to Weymouth (between all the other teenagers, this time I went with Laura and Magalí), again at a family home but this time alone. Undoubtedly, this time was the best because I was older and my English family was more that great. They made me feel like at home and also, one day my “mother” gave me permission to don’t go to school and went to spend the day shopping together. It was three years ago, and we still talk occasionally.(The attached photo is Peacock's family from Weymouth).

Certainly were three unforgettable experiences for me. Now I thank my parents for having made me go. Imagine if I liked, that I am considering going there next year for a while and start the degree later (but it is only an option).

So what I can only say to you is that if you never have do it, don’t wait more and try. I assure you it will be an unforgettable experience.

Discribing myself

Hello everybody!

Is the first time I write this blog, certainly I write a blog, so I don’t know what do people usually explain in it. For this reason I’ve found appropriate to start describing myself a bit, because that way people will know how I am.

I am 17 years old and I am a tallish and slim girl. I have clear-skinned and curly, fair hair. Psychologically I regard me friendly, responsible and outgoing, but unluckily I am not a perfect person. I can usually be a little bit moody, depending on way that I get up, shy, when I have to meet someone for the first time and also sometimes absent-minded, when I am lazy or tired.
I can’t forget that I’m a talkative person because when I have to explain something to  my friends that for me is important or interesting I can’t wait and I have to tell them at the moment. I am quite a lot proud with what I think, even though I am not always right.

Is not difficult to guess one of my hobbies if you look the blog’s photo. Have you seen it? Yes, it’s basketball. I play it since I was 7 and honestly I don’t know what I would do without. The hobbies about my personal life are, like any other teenager, go out with my friends and stay in my village, Viladrau. For me is the best place where anyone can live because I have the most part of my friends and family and in addition it is small, cozy, quiet, beautiful...Do you want to come? I wouldn’t think twice.

So this is a little bit of my life. I hope you have not boring and that it has helped you to know me a little more. I wish you enjoy the weekend, I will do it.
